1.ABOUT
The Electrical Operation Branch is managing the Electric and Diesel locomotives operation, responsible to maintain the lobbies and running rooms in Nagpur division. The main aim is better management & optimum utilization of crew meeting the traffic requirement. Fulfilling the mandatory requirements of training, rest, hours of working etc. for Crew.

| 1. | Operation and minor maintenance of Electric & Diesel Locomotives on line. |
| 2. | Management of various aspects related to running staff such as PME, CRC/ACRC, Auto signal training, promotional courses etc. |
| 3. | Regular and intensive Counseling of Running Staff by Officers and CLIs. Training of Running staff for modern locomotives and other technological development in locomotives so that they feel accustomed in working such locomotives. |
| 4. | Cadre control of all loco running staff and providing various safety equipments time to time through lobbies. |
| 5. | Improvement of Running Room in order to ensure efficient train operation. Arrange rest facilities for out station off duty crew. |
| 6. | To run coaching trains crew links are provided at control for better management. |
| 7. | Minimize asset failure on crew account. |
