A.फ्रेट गतिविधियां/Freight activities

1) आरओएच डिपो, पीपीयार्ड-भिलाई/ROH Depot, PP Yard, Bhilai.

PP Yard/Bhilai is mainly dealing with air brake stock including BOXN/BOXNHL/BOXNHL (MBS) wagons.

The ROH depot and sick line attached to PP Yard is ISO: 9001-2008 certified.

Average outturn of this depot is 700 ROH wagons per month.

Coal Empty Yard is attached with this depot to carry out PME, PEE and Continuity examination.

Approximately 08-10 rakes are being examined per day at PP Yard.

207 CC rakes based at PPYD.

Maintenance of 30 BOBRN CC rakes including ROH.

2) एक्‍सचेंज यार्ड, भिलाई/Exchange Yard, Bhilai.

The incoming and outgoing examination of empties and loaded rakes of Bhilai Steel Plant is being done at this yard. 

Exchange Yard/Bhilai plays a pivotal role in supply and clearance of rakes for Bhilai Steel Plant.

Exchange Yard, Bhilai is also playing a vital role in operation of End Unloading Rakes (EUR) in SEC Railway for transportation of long rail from Bhilai Steel Plant to other Railway zones.

Exchange yard, Bhilai is nominated for centralized maintenance of EUR rakes.

53EUR rakes are maintained at this yard and unique number Bhilai Rail (BR) is given for ready reference and tracking through FOIS.

ROH has been started at Ex-Yard from 27.07.2017 and avg. outturn is 56 per month and per day 02.

                            

3) रिसेप्‍शन यार्ड, भिलाई/Reception Yard, Bhilai.     

C&W depot Reception Yard/BMY is dealing with all types of air brake stock.

Work of rehabilitation of wagon is being undertaken at this depot.

Reception Yard is also dealing for formation of Super Long Haul trains consisting of two rakes in different combination.

 

4)कैरेजएवंवेगनडिपो,दल्लीराजहरा /C&W depot DRZ.

A fleet of 482 BOBSNMI wagons is maintained at DRZ.

BOBSNM1 rakes are fit for carrying 25 Tonne axle load.

Total 8 BOBSNMI rakes are plying between DRZ – MXA for transportation of IRON ORE for Bhilai Steel Plant.

This depot mainly deals with PME of BOBSNMI rakes. All 08 BOBSNMI rakes having validity of 20 roundtrip  or 30 days whichever is earlier.

B. कोचिंगमेंटनेंसगतिविधियां / Coaching maintenance activities

1)  दुर्ग/Durg

Durg is the main coaching depot of Raipur Division.

13 trains are being given Primary maintenance.

04 train is being given Secondary maintenance.

04 trains are being given Other End maintenance.

Average holding of this depot is 307 (ICF-205 + LHB-102) coaches.

Cleaning of coaches, depot and on onboard housekeeping services have been outsourced.

OBHS provided in 10 Durg based trains.

Mechanized laundry plant has been commissioned on 04.03.12 at Coaching Depot/Durg and operational.

2)  रायपुर/Raipur

Other End maintenance of 01 BG Mail/ Express and 06 BG passenger trains is done at this depot.

Continuity checks on 16 BG mail/express & 06 BG passengers are attended at Raipur station.

CTS has been started at Raipur station from March 2015. and Avg. 15 trains are being attended per day.
