Important activities of the department:
Maintenance of overhead equipments & power supply equipment.
Co-ordination with State Electricity Board (CSPDCL) for un-interrupted power supply to OHE.
Keeping Tower wagons and road vehicles meant for attending the maintenance and breakdowns in good fettle.
Co-ordination with RVNL, Construction , RE and other executing agencies for new Electrification works.
