उपलब्धियॉं /ACHIEVEMENTS – 2020-21:


·There was no Consequential train accident.

·There was no Fire on train accident.

·There was no MLC accident.

·There was no SPAD incident.

·Zero Accident Mission – April-2021, May-2021, June’2021 (had Zero accidents.

·Safety Seminars - 02 Safety Seminars were conducted at various stations of the division.


·Safety Drives - 12 Safety Drives (RB=5, HQ=6 & Divl.=1) have been organized in the division from April to June 2021.

·Safety inspections – Total 87 inspections (of which 38 night inspections) were carried out by Safety Officers & 197 inspections (of which 47 night inspections) were carried out by Safety Counsellors during April & May’2021.

·In terms of RB’s directives International Level Crossing Awareness Week was celebrated from 04.06.2021 to 10.06.2021. During the campaign, 177 checks were carried out at 90 LC gates. More than 4875 road users were counselled either personally or by way of distributing 3000 handbills on precautions to be taken while crossing level crossings such as; “Not to trespass the level crossing in closed condition, wait for opening of the level crossing, be vigilant”, “Not to wear head phone while crossing the level crossing”, “Always cross the railway track only through a railway level crossing” and “Opening & breaking of level crossing is a punishable crime under section 160 of the Railway Act 1989 with a provision of imprisonment upto 5 years etc.”.Frequent announcements were made through public address system at 17 stations to educate the road users.
