Provision of PTFE Neutral Type Neutral Section

At Gondia/SP, PTFE type neutral section of length 9.40 Mtrs. has been provided in UP line at loc. 998/13. PTFE erection and Overlap dismantling done in single block of 03:34 Hours duration only. After the provision of PTFE Neutral Section, stalling of Trains due to Signal in “DANGER” (loc. 998/25) of Interlocking Gate No. 506/A (loc. 998/33-35) will be avoided in Neutral Zone of SP. Whole work has been carried out departmentally.


Provision of PTFE Neutral Type Neutral Section at HDM/TSS under G-BPQ single line section

At HDM/TSS (back charged), PTFE type neutral section of length 9.40 Mtrs. has been provided at loc. 1018/15 between stalling prone HDM-GNL section. Work completed in power block of 02:38Hrs. Total 10 Nos. DJ Open/Close Boards have been provided. Now supply of KWN/TSS has been extended upto HDM/TSS (over G/SP-2). Now feeding zone of NAB/TSS reduced from 133 Kms. to 115 Kms. After the provision of PTFE, stalling of trains in G-HDM section has been reduced on account of voltage fluctuatuion. Entire work has been carried out departmentally.


Commissioning of New 21.6/30.24MVA Transformer at KNHN/TSS: Defective transformer (Tr-11) of capacity 13.5/20 MVA (Make : MINEL) has been replaced by new 21.6/30.24MVA (Make:BHEL) Transformer at KNHN/TSS. Transformer commissioned on 31.01.2021.


Work for 130 Kmph Speed Trains: For speed raising to130 Kmph speed in DUG-NGP section, super Elevation (SE) of track has been increased at curve locations, accordingly, OHE has been modified by replacing 171 Cantilevers and doing adjustment in 265 Cantilevers. The entire work has been done departmentally.


Broken/flash marked/bad batch Insulators), 518 Insulators (Stay-181, Bracket – 291 & 9T – 46 have been replaced to improve the reliability of OHE.


15 nos. Critical Implantation has been improved by providing new structure.


98 nos. Leaning Mast has been rectified by providing new structure.


686nos. Kite thread has been removed during the year.


942 nos. Worn droppers/Contact-Cat Clip/U Pin have been replaced by new one.


502 nos. rusted cantilevers have been replaced by new one.


69 nos. rusted anti -creep wire have been replaced by new one.


12.03 TKM Aluminium catenary wire has been replaced by copper.


Double contact wire has been provided in lieu of Catenary wire in 17 Lines - Under ROB in section Kelzer-Chandafort -1 no., GNQ-Chord Cabin -1 no. & FOB at Hatta Road Station -3 nos., Dewalgaon-1 no., Umranala-1 no., Bhandarkund-1 no., Koka-1 no., Murhipar -1 no., Arjuni-1 no., Gudma-2 nos., Sondad - 1 no., Gangajhari-2 nos., Tumsar-1 no.
