Ø Multi-disciplinary zonal training institute is situated near Loco Colony, Bilaspur. MDZTI has been established to cater the training needs of Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Personnel, Commercial, Operating,and Store departments.MDZTIimparts the training to non gazetted staff (Both Safety & Non safety Categories) of 7 departments of Bilaspur, Raipur & Nagpur divisions and workshops of SEC Railway.
Ø The MDZTI was inaugurated on 07thMarch, 2008 by the then General Manager Sri. Pradeep Kumar.
Ø Multi-disciplinary training centre, Bilaspur have been accorded recognition by Railway Board vide letter No. E (MPP)/2008/3/11, Dated: 10.09.2008 with prospective effect. Now MDZTI/BSP has been included in the list of training centers as “OTHER TRAINING CENTRE” by Railway Board. MDTC has been upgraded to MDZTI vide RB letter No E(MPP)/2016/03/20 Dated 15.02.2019.
