Achievement for the month of NOVERMBER 2024
General:
- Bestever Overall Train Interchange on a single day : 221 trains achieved on 01.11.2024 surpassing previous best of 217 trains interchanged on 05.07.2024.
- Highest ever freight loading (average wgns/day) : 895.3 wgns/day in Nov’24, surpassing previous best of 798.8 wgns/day achieved in May’24.
- Highest ever freight loading (in MT) : 1.848 MT in Nov’24, surpassing previous best of 1.681 MT achieved in May’24.
- Achieved 11 MT loading on 14/11/2024 i.e. in 228 days, (last year same achieved on 28.12.2023 i.e. 272 days).
- Achieved 12 MT loading on 30/11/2024 i.e. in 244 days, (last year same achieved on 17.01.2024 i.e. 292 days).
- Average freight loading in terms of wagons was 895.3 wgns/day as compared 655.4 wgns/day during corresponding period of last year, which is an increase of 36.6%.
- Total freight loading in terms of weight was 1.848 MT as compared 1.366 MT during corresponding period of last year, which is an increase of 35.3 %.
- Average speed for freight trains during Nov’24 was 18.11 kmph, which is an improvement of 7.9% as compared to corresponding period of last year’s 16.77 kmph.
- Average Electric loco utilization during Nov’24 was 370 kms, which is an improvement of 6.0% as compared to corresponding period of last year’s 349 kms.
- Average Diesel loco utilization during Nov’24 was 369 km, which is an improvement of 3.9% as compared to corresponding period of last year’s 355 km.
- Average trains interchanged per day during Nov’24 were 189.5 trains/day, which is increase of 7.6 % as compared to corresponding period of last year’s 176.1 trains/day.
- Wagon Turn round during Nov’24 was 1.2 days, which is improvement of 7.7% as compared to corresponding period of last year’s 1.3 days.
Safety:- Safety is given prime importance over Nagpur division. There is no accident over Nagpur division in the month of November 2024. There were ‘NIL’ consequential accident on account of Fire, level crossing and indicative (SPAD).
- 35 nos. of ambush checks were conducted and errant road drivers to the extent of 663 were counselled to improve safety consciousness at the level crossings. Cumulative progress of ambush checks has gone up to 214 nos. & total 3418 nos. users have been counselled.
- Total 207 nos. Rail / Weld defects, detected during USFD testing of Rails & Welds, have been removed during the month. Cumulative defects removal has gone up to 2103 nos. No DFWR Weld defect exists in track of Nagpur Division. The details of defects removal is as under :-
- Visual examination of 3361 fish plated joints have been done during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 8752 nos.
- 7.50 nos. Switches (1.5 Ordinary + 06 TWS) & 15 nos. CMS Crossings have been renewed during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 04 full set, 132.5 switches (Ordinary – 31.5 & TWS – 101) & 98 nos. CMS Crossings. Further, at 2 nos. turnouts full PSC sleeper sets have been renewed at Sindewahi Yard.
- Improvements to Housing of Tongue Rail up to 5 sleepers have been done for 27nos. turnouts at various yards. Cumulative progress has gone up to 198 Nos.
- 11 nos. of improved SEJ have been renewed & 52 nos. of glued joints replaced during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to improved SEJ – 75 nos. and glued joint 444 nos.
- 14 nos. gapless joints done at crossing portion during this month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 118 nos.
- Reconditioning of 11 nos. of Tongue Rails by robotic method & 10 nos. crossings have been done during the month. Cumulative progress of reconditioning for Tongue Rails & CMS crossings has gone up to 124 nos. & 262 nos. respectively.
- 51 nos. of SEJ sleepers have been renewed during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 389 nos.
- During the month 02 nos. deep screening of Turnouts has been done by BCM at Chandafort yard (Point No. 41B ) & Kelzar yard (Point No.41B ). Cumulative progress has gone up to 59 nos. (11 nos. by BCM and 48 nos. by Manually).
- During the month 544 nos. Channel sleeper have been renewed by H-Beam sleeper on bridge no. 332 UP (108 Nos) on ‘A’ route between Durg - Nagpur section & Br.No.159 (436 Nos.) on ‘D’ route between Gondia – Chandafort section. Cumulative progress has gone up to 4330 nos.
- 0.65 Unit CTR progress has been achieved during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 38.33 CTR Unit.
- During the month, 3.26 km deep screening has been done (2.78 Km. by BCM Machine & 0.48 Km by manually). Cumulative progress has gone up to 44.82 km. (42.07 Km. by BCM Machine & 2.27 Km by manually).
- 12.64 Th. Cum ballast supply received and 13.108 Th. Cum ballast trained out during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 120.00 Th. Cum and 109.90 Th. Cum respectively.
- 184.28 Km Plain track tamping & 41 nos. Turnout tamping has been carried out by various track machines during the month. Cumulative progress has gone up to 1573.99 km & 425 nos. respectively.
- During the month, destressing of LWR has been done to the extant of 62.91 Tkm. Cumulative progress has gone up to 229.2 km.
- 845.76 Km USFD testing of Rail & Welds has been tested during the month with no overdue in rail testing. Cumulative progress of USFD testing of Rail & Welds has gone up to 7177.14 km. The details of USFD testing is as under :-
Digital Initiatives:- Web based application “Sanraksha” developed by Sr.DSO for Safety Inspections.
- Web based training programme “Anklan” developed by Sr.DSO for dissemination of important circulars on safety precautions.
- 100% E- tendering is being done.
- Digitisation of store indents has been done.
- TC minutes are being done through IREPS.
- LOA is being issued through IREPS.
- Pay order for EMD return is prepared through IREPS.
- Bills (store, works & imprest) are being processed through IPAS.
- All stores indents are being processed through IREPS (IMMS).
- E-DAS has been implemented for online clearance of drawings.
- E-Office has been implemented over the Nagpur division in order to promote paperless working.
- Contract agreements are being vetted, signed & issued Online through IRWCMS.
- User Depot Module (UDM) has been implemented over Nagpur Division for digitalization of consignee stores.
- Counselling of staff through new Mobile application “ AANKLAN” has been developed.
