Innovations/Good work done during the month

*Vigilance Awareness Week was started in the Division from 18.10.2024.  On this occasion oath has been administered to the staff of DRM Complex, in presence of Officers and Staff. 
*Grievance Redressal Camps for registering and on spot resolving Grievances of Staff at Durg and BYT have been organized on 16.10.2024 & 23.10.2024 respectively. On this occasion Personnel and Finance officers with unit incharge and staffs were present.
*Rail Seva Puruskar 2022-23 (DRM Award) has been organized on 25.10.2024 at Officer Club “Ullas” WRS Raipur. On this occasion 44 Individuals and 27 Running Shields have been awarded to the officers / officials of various departments.
*National Unity Day- 31st October’2024, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel has been celebrated as National unity day.  On this occasion oath has been administered to the staff of DRM Complex, in presence of Officers and Staff. 
*Box pushing completed at LC-387 in BYT-HN Section and delaunching of girder has been done.
*Tree Plantation-Division has done Tree Plantation of 0.221 lakh during month.
*Scrap valuing Rs.03.97 (In Crore) was sold during the month.
*On 09.10.24, a Co-ordination Meeting was held at Raipur in which Director In charge, SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant, CPM/RVNL and Officials from ACBMPL and concerned Branch Officers from SECR have participated.  During the meeting various critical issues related to Rowghat Project and Bhilai Steel Plant on-going projects were reviewed and vital decisions were taken.
*TTR(Full set) work done at BMY Yard Point no 60A & 60B.
*नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति, रायपुरके सदस्‍य कार्यालयों को वर्ष 2023 के दौरान राजभाषा हिंदी में उत्‍कृष्‍ट कार्य करने हेतु नगर राजभाषा शील्‍ड प्रदान करने के लिए गठित मूल्‍यांकन समिति की बैठक दिनांक 15.10.2024 को आयोजित की गई तथा सदस्‍य कार्यालयों से प्राप्‍त वार्षिक रिपोर्टों का मूल्‍यांकन कर विजेता कार्यालयों का चयन किया गया ।

SAFETY INITIATIVES/INNOVATIONS CARRIED OUT DURING THIS MONTH
*Divisional safety seminar was organized at DTC/BMY on 17.10.24. Topics are Prevention of SPAD and Addendum & corrigendum no. 59, Precautions taken during Shunting Operations and prevention during load stabling, Proper signal exchange by train staff with station staff and gateman. Analysis of recent incidences, First Aid Box & Use of fire extinguisher. Total 38 participants attended the seminar.
*Box pushing completed at LC-387 in BYT-HN Section and delaunching of girder has been done on 18.10.24.
*Standby SSDAC in parallel to IB (400mtr) track circuit has been commissioned for both UP & DN lines in BYT-NPI section on 28.10.2024.
*Divisional safety seminar was organized at DURG on 24.10.24. Topics are Prevention of Prevention of SPAD and Operation of trains during failure of Auto signals, Authorities issued in Auto section, Addendum & corrigendum no. 59, Precautions taken during Shunting Operations Precaution taken by OPTG and S&T staff during failure of point & signal, Preventive measures taken by ENGG. Department in post rainy season and pre winter precautions, Preventive measures to avoid fire on Loco, Train & Power car. Analysis of recent accidents, Use of First Aid Box & Use of fire extinguisher and its demonstration. Total 78 participants attended the seminar.

SAFETY DRIVES LAUNCHED AND SAFETY PROPAGANDA CARRIED OUT DURING THE MONTH:
*Week long RBSD for the month of Oct-24 was launched from 07.10.24 to 13.10.24.                                       
*15 days long RB Safety Drive of Point and Crossing from 23.10.24 to 06.11.24.

·    Reasons for Shortfall in loading:

ØLess availability of coal at washaries resulted in less loading. 

ØFrequent breakdowns due to rains have resulted in less production ofiron ore at Dallirajhara, which resulted in less loading in Oct ’24. 

ØDecreased demand resulted in less loading of Raw material for steel plant.

ØLess demand resulted in less loading through Containers.

·    During the month of October ’24, the division’s Revenue Loading  was 3.30 Million Tonnes, compared to last year October month’s  3.48  Million Tonnes,   i.e,  5.17%  less. 

·     In terms of EWW, the average loading was 1580 compared to 1669 of Oct ’23.(i.e. 5.33%)

·     Total 2700 Nos. old hard files of Engineering department dewed during the month.

·    Thick Web Switch– 18 nos. Thick Web Switch have been renewed during the month.Total 56 Nos. thick web switch has been renewed upto the month.

·     Thick Web SEJ –Total 11 Nos. thick web SEJ has been renewed upto the month.

·    Earning through non-conventional sources- Rs. 0.498142 Cr. has been collected during the month. Total Rs. 1.734954553 Cr. have been collected upto the month.

·    CTR– 4.959 km CTR has been done during the month. Total 35.225 Tkm CTR has been done upto the month.

·     TTR – 02 Set Full TTR, 17 Crossings, & 20 Switches have been renewed during the month. Total 11.25 unit TTR has been done during the month. Total 46.25 TTR has been done upto the month.

·Through Bridge Sleeper Renewal (TBSR):- Total 386 Nos. TBSR have been done upto the month.           

·     TFR – 1.932 Tkm. TFR has been done during the month. Total 18.868 Tkm TFR has been done upto the month.

·     Deep Screening of Plain track – 10.965 Tkm. Deep Screening of plain track has been done during the  month.Total 38.489 Tkm Deep Screening has been done upto the month.

·Deep Screening of Turn Outs – 35 Nos. Deep Screening of turnouts has been done during the  month.Total 49 Nos. Deep Screening has been done upto the month.

·    Overhauling of Level crossings– 14 Nos. LC Overhauling has been done during the month. Total 41 Nos. LC overhauling have been done upto the month.

·     Road Surfacing of LC Gate- Total 05 Nos. LC’s Road surfacing has been done during the month. Total 28 Nos. LC’s Road surface have been done upto the month.

·     Overhauling of Track – 6.581 Tkm overhauling of track has been done during the month. Total 39.770 Tkm overhauling of track has been done upto the month.

·    Overhauling of Points and crossings - 14 nos. overhauling of Pt. & X-ings has been done during the month. Total 94 Nos. overhauling of Pt. & X-ings has been done upto the month. 

De-stressing of LWR –Total 24.567 Tkm De-stressing has been done during the month.

Any other achievement(s)

·In the month of October-2024, ROH outturn 1052 wagons this is the highest ever record ROH outturn against the target of 1157 wagons. (PPYd: 825, Ex. Yd: 152, BMY: 75).This is an increase of 4.2% over corresponding period of last year. Total cumulative for the year 2024-25 is 6879 wagons.

.  Loading of food grain rake started has been started from BPTP Goods Shed on 19.10.2024.

·On 16.10.23, De-launching of Girder at L.C Gate No. 387 between HN – BYT on Dn line was completed. (For this, total 03:30 hrs Traffic blocks were granted on Dnline alone).

·On 18.10.24 De-launching of Girder at L.C Gate No. 387 between HN – BYT on  Up & Middle was completed.  (For this total 03:25 hrs Traffic Blocks were granted.

·During  Oct ’24,  total 76 Nos. of  Glued Joint replacement was done compared to last year’s  41 Nos., (i.e  35 nos. more)

·Similarly, total 215 BOBYs were unloaded compared to last year’s 81 Nos., (i.e, 134 nos. more).
