Analyze causes of accidents and advice action plans including issuing of Safety Circulars, conducting Safety drives, organizing Safety seminars, Staff Counselling etc. to prevent accidents.





 उपलब्धियॉं /ACHIEVEMENTS – 2022-23 (upto 10thJune’22):

 1There was no Consequential train accident in last 3 years.

2There was no Fire on train accident in last 3 years.

3There was no MLC/UMLC accident in last 3 years.

4Zero Accident Months – April- 2022 had Zero accidents.

5Safety Seminars - 04 Safety Seminars were conducted.


7Safety Drives - 05 Safety Drives (RB=02, HQ=03 & Divl. =00) have been organized in the division.


8Safety inspections – Total 104 inspections (of which 13-night inspections)were carried out by Safety Officers & 324 inspections (of which 51 night inspections) were carried out by Safety Counselors from April to May 2022.These were done for intensifying safety efforts and bringing safety environment in work culture.


9PME & RC is being reviewed in Safety meeting every week.Total 199 staff attended PME & 342 staff attended RC upto May- 2022.




10.In, terms of RB’s directives International Level Crossing Awareness Week was celebrated from 03.069.22 to 09.06.22. During the campaign, 290 checks were carried out at level crossing gates.More than 19058 road users were counseled and about 11914 handbills distributed on precautions to be taken while crossing level crossings such as; “Not to trespass the level crossing in closed condition, wait for opening of the level crossing, be vigilant”, “Not to wear head phone while crossing the level crossing”, “Always cross the railway track only through a railway level crossing” and “Opening & breaking of level crossing is a punishable crime under section 160 of the Railway Act 1989 with a provision of imprisonment upto 5 years etc.”.
