1.ZONAL COACHING OPERATION SHIELD AWARDED FOR 2020-21.

Freight loading :

 

During current financial year 2021-22 (upto December) 6.809 million tonnes was achieved as compared to 5.905 million tonnes, which is an increase of 15.31 % as compared to corresponding period of last year.

 

·

·Loading by WCL (upto December) :

 

DKU – during the current year 597 rakes (2.477 MT) were loaded as compared to 588 rakes (2.393 MT) in the same period of last year, i.e. increase of 09 rakes (increase +0.08 MT) (+3.5 %).

SONR – during the current year 136 rakes (0.556 MT) were loaded as compared to 100 rakes (0.402 MT) in the same period of last year, i.e. increase of 36 rakes (increase +0.015 MT) (38.3%).

Overall there was increase of 45 coal rakes (+0.23 MT) (i.e. +8.5%).

(Total Coal loading by WCL Current year–733 rakes (3.033 MT), Last year – 688 rakes (2.795 MT) )

Efforts made by BDU to generate New traffic -

 

Food grains –

 

·PSCR/Rasmara : 53 rakes loaded. 1st rake loaded on 27.04.2021.

·Chiraidongri : 19 rakes loaded. 1st rake loaded on 21.06.2021.

Other loading highlights :

 

·Food grain loading : 622 rakes (1.412 MT) were loaded.

·Loading of Fly Ash : 269 rakes have been loaded (PMAM- 257, PJPB-12).

·Dolomite : 84 rakes loaded (CID - 57, KLOD - 27).

·208 mini rakes wire loaded during 2021-22 which contributed 33.5% in Total food grain loading.

·1st BTAP rake loaded ex. PMAM siding under LWIS scheme (Owner BCRL M/s Birla Corporation Ltd) for destination RCPB (M/s Reliance Cement Co. Pvt. Ltd, Badanpur JBP/WCR) on 25/06/2021. (45 rakes loaded upto Dec’21).

·1st rake under STS scheme loaded ex.KLOD for destination IISD on 09/10/2021, Commodity-Dolomite, 59 BOXNHL by M/s Murlidhar Minerals, earning Rs.53,28,982/-.

1st rake for new destination MLSW loaded ex.CID on 09/10/2021, Commodity-Dolomite, 43 BOST, earning Rs.17,74,639/-.

3.Mobility :

·Best ever average goods trains Interchange during Dec’21 – 179.5 trains per day, previous best 178.8 trains per day during Nov’21.

·Best ever average goods trains’ takeover ex Raipur during Dec’21 - 51.6 trains per day, previous best 51.4 trains per day during Nov’21.

·Best ever average goods trains made over to C.Rly during Dec’21 – 37.4 trains per day, previous best 35.1 trains per day during Mar’21.

·Highest no. of goods trains made over to C.Rly on a single day on 23/12/2021 – 46 trains, previous best 44 trains on 16/09/2021.

·Best ever average wagon Interchange during Dec’21 – 9159 wagons per day, previous best 9061 wagons per day during Nov’21.

·Total 18 Long-haul formed during the month in DN direction and 46 Long-haul (including 03 Super Anaconda) run in UP direction received ex.Raipur division.

·Average over all Goods train speed during the month was 66.3 kmph as compared to 60.34 kmph achieved during corresponding period of last year, which is an increase of 9.9%.

·Average Electric loco utilization during the month was 478 kms as compared to 465 kms achieved during corresponding period of last year, which is an improvement of 2.8 %.

·Highest no. of goods trains taken over ex.Raipur on 02/10/2021 – 60 trains, previous best 59 trains on 08/03/2021.

·During Aug’21, 2 loaded long haul trains with WAG9 single locos run successfully in UP direction without bankers :

-17/08/2021 : N/TSWS (33225 BIA) + N/TSWS (31123 LGD).

-30/08/2021 : N/AEMD (32817 LGD) + N/TSWS (27058 DDU).

 

·During Aug’21, 1 loaded long haul trains with WAG5 multi locos run successfully in UP direction without banker:

-13/08/2021 : N/KRDS (24039/23164 JHS) + N/TSWS (23613/23329 ET).

 

·Number of bankers stationed at Dongargarh reduced to 3 as compared to 7 bankers which were being previously used.

4.Coaching train operations :

·Overall punctuality of coaching train 92.92 % as compared to target of 85.0 %, i.e. improvement of 9.3%.

·Datalogger linked with COA commissioned on 15.08.2021 at Gondia.

·Oxygen/Spl : 1st Oxygen/spl ex.KLMG to VSPS passed through on 21/04/2021. Total 84 Oxygen/Spl were passed through during 2021-2022 till date.

·2 Kisan Rails were run ex.CWA during December’21.

 

5.Improvement in Infrastructure :

 

·Auto signaling :

-DGG-JTR-MUA commissioned on 11/04/2021.

-BAKL-RJN commissioned on 27/08/2021.

-MUA-BAKL commissioned on 29/08/2021.

 

·Bortalao 3rd Line :- NIfor Commissioning of 3rd Line alongwith Auto Signalling05/07/21 8.45 hrs.to 07.07.212.30 hrs. Total 46.45 hrs. CRS inspection done on 22/07/2021, sanctioned received 26/07/2021.

·Darekasa 3rd Line :- NIfor Commissioning of 3rd Line Alongwith Auto Signaling, 8.7.218.20 hrs to 09.07.21 19.10 hrs. (34.50 hrs). CRS inspection done on 22/07/2021, sanctioned received 26/07/2021.

·CRS Inspection of Railway Electrification work between BTC-KGE, KGE-TRDI conducted on 09/07/2021.

·New Crew Lobby Kalumna (KAV) defined in CMS on 06/08/2021.

·Commissioning of new goods line at Chiraidongri :New Goods line (L.no.3) commissioned and open for goods loading vide RC.no.205(G)/2021 dtd.09/09/2021.

·Commissioning of new goods line at Garha :- New Goods line commissioned dtd.01/11/2021.

·Non-interlock working at KOKA for commissioning of 3rd line started on 23/11/2021 at 10.00 hrs, completed on 25/11/2021 at 14.15 hrs (52.15 hrs).

·Non-interlock working at Tirora (TRO) for commissioning of 3rd line started on 03/01/2022 at 10.00 hrs, completed on 05/01/2022 at 05.15 hrs (43.15 hrs).

·Non-interlock working at Bhandara (BRD) for commissioning of 3rd line started on 09/01/2022 at 02.30 hrs, completed on 11/01/2022 at 17.30 hrs (63.00 hrs).
