General:
·Average freight loading in terms of wagons was 521.7 wgns/day as compared 402.1 wgns/day during corresponding period of last year, which is an increase of 29.7%.
·Total freight loading in terms of weight was 1.070 MT as compared 0.790 MT during corresponding period of last year, which is an increase of 35.4%.
·Average overall goods train speed (including detention) during the month was 21.57 kmph as compared to 19.49 kmph during corresponding period of previous year, which is an increase of 10.7%.
·Total 60 Long-hauls formed during the month, 52in DN direction & 8 in UP direction. 55 Long-haul run in UPdirection received ex. Raipur division.
·For the 1st time 7 long haul formed in Gondia-Balharshahsection, Nagbhir-5, Talodhi Road-1, Bramhapuri-1 (Total-7) and handed over at Balharshah.
·1st BPA Crack between Nagbhir to Belampalli (SC.Rly) ran on 16/04/23 (BCN/BKG 33239 departure Nagbhir -11.10, Belampalli arrival - 19.45).
·3rd line DGG-PJB section a speed raised from 90 kmph to 110 kmph w.e.f. 12.04.2023.
·3rd line Gangajhari-Kachewani opened for traffic w.e.f. 20.04.23 with MPS of 80 kmph.
Safety
·Safety is given prime importance over Nagpur division.There is no accident over Nagpur division in the month of April 2023.There were ‘NIL’ consequential accident on account of Fire, level crossing and indicative (SPAD).
·13 nos. of ambush checks were conducted and errant road drivers to the extent of 187 were counselled to improve safety consciousness at the level crossings.
·Total 220 nos. Rail / Weld defects, detected during USFD testing of Rails & Welds, have been removed during the month.
·320 no. visual examination of fish plated joints have been done during the month.
·24 nos. Switches (18 – Ordinary + 6 TWS) & 13 nos. CMS Crossings have been renewed during the month.
·Improvements to Housing of Tongue Rail up to 4 sleepers have been done for 17 nos. turnouts at various yards during this month.
·09 no. of Improved SEJ have been renewed & 45 no. of glued joints replaced during the month.
·14 no. Gapless joints done at Crossing portion during this month.
·38 no. of SEJ sleepers have been renewed during the month.
Digital Initiatives:
·Web based application “Sanraksha” developed by Sr.DSO for Safety Inspections.
·100%E- tendering is being done.
·Digitisation of briefing note has been done.
·Digitisation of store indents has been done.
·TC minutes are being done through IREPS.
·LOA is being issued through IREPS.
·Pay order for EMD return is prepared through IREPS.
·Bills (store, works & imprest) are being processed through IPAS.
·All stores indents are being processed through IREPS (IMMS).
·E-DAS has been implemented for online clearance of drawings.
·E-Office has been implemented over the Nagpur division in order to promote paperless
working.
·Contract agreements are being vetted, signed & issued Online through IRWCMS.
·User Depot Module (UDM) has been implemented over Nagpur Division for digitalization of consignee stores.
·For work from Home VPN have been provided to the staff and officers of NGP division.
