·Conducting preventive checks pertaining to all departments, specifically in identified thrust areas.
·Investigation of complaints received directly or forwarded by Railway Board/CVC.
·Monitoring vigilance related DAR cases.
·Improving vigilance administration by Leveraging technology.
·Scrutiny of RSCR files and IPR of the Officers.
·Conducting surprise check during the examinations conducted by RRB & RRC
·Issue of vigilance clearance.
·Preparation of Agreed list in consultation with concerned CBI unit.
·To provide assistance to CBI as and when required.
