Important activities of the Department:-

  • Procurement of material for divisional indenters through GeM and IREPS portal.

 

  • Placing order within 10-15 days of receiving demands by adopting Government e-Market place and E-tendering process through IREPS.

 

 

  • Monitoring of quick identification and offering of scrap and further disposal of scrap (including Rails and other P/way) in the entire division.

 

  • Waste paper disposal:- Waste paper is sold to authorized agencies who in turn hand over the same to paper Mills.These waste papers are fed to boiler and undergo recycling process.

 

  • E-office oriented work procedure is adopted for performing day to day works.
