Energy Conservation Done by adopting following methods inthe division. 

  1. By switching off Electrical assets when not in use.

  2. By use of non conventional energy like solar lights & solargeysers etc.

  3. By installingAPFC panels/capacitors in substations & circuits etc.

  4. By arranging Transparent sheets in roof of sheds/work shops for natural lighting.

  5. By using T-5 in place of T-12 TFL fittings.

  6. By providing LED fittings progressively in place of CFL & incandescent lamp fittings..

  7. By using timers in street lights & pump houses.

  8. By using Electronic Energy meters, Electronic Ballast, for light fittings, Electronic Regulators for fans in place of conventional Electrical Items.

  9. By adopting 70/30 lighting arrangement in Rly stations during trains movement.

  10. Contracts – planning to execution.
