7.5Measures Taken To Reduce Stalling-

ØFoot plating by CLIs in WAG-9 SU loaded in between DURG-DGG & TMR-NGP.

ØLoaded train with WAG-9 not taken without sander working from Bhilai.

ØLoaded goods train with front sander not working are nottaken from NGP/CR

ØAdvance lowering of signal in stalling prone section as per JPO.

ØWithdrawal of WAG-9 loco from banker.

Repair of sanders at DGG.

ØFilling up of sanders at DGG maintenance point.

ØRemoval of 30kmph CD in stalling prone section.

ØCounseling by CLIs for improving driving technique & trouble-shooting.

ØWeak driver training provided at ELTC/Uslapur.

ØProvision of banker at SKS-DKS, PJB-BTL, KAV-GNQ & one banker is kept at MUP for emergency (rainy season).

ØTo increase no. of multiple loco units.

8.5Measures Taken To Reduce Loco Failures-

ØCounseling of crew by CLIs for improving trouble-shooting technique.

ØWeak area of crew conveyed to ELTC/ USL for improvement.

ØTrouble shooting guidance by TLC during online failure.

ØAttending of loco failure & rectification by CLIs/maintenance staff (DGG/G).

ØTo minimize failure response time LPs are advised to inform TLC first and then troubleshoot. TLC asked to demand relief within 10 minutes, if loco rectified relief cancelled.

ØCLIs are sent to BIA loco shed for attending specialized trouble shooting training for proper counseling of staff.

ØNew modifications and technical guidelines are circulated.
