    ØOn date 02.07.2020, Indian Railway’s South East Central Railway zone Nagpur Division has created a unique record when it’s attached four rakes of freight train together. The train was originated at Parmalkasa (PMS) station at Nagpur Division. The train was run between Parmalkasa to Korba station. The train formation ready and started from PMS 12:20 hrs and train arrived at 19:28 hrs at KRBA. “SHESH-NAAG” train has taken total time 7hrs 08min. for travelling approx. 260Km successfully in SECR.

    The Super Python (“Shesh-Naag”),2.768 Km long train amalgamating four empty N/BOX rakes powered by four sets of electric locomotives. It may be noted that “Shesh-Naag” is the longest train ever to be operated by the Indian Railways. The formation was made by joining four empty N/BOX rakes and is powered by four sets of electric locomotives. It has nine engine and four guards van. The 236 wagons long-haul goods train named “Shesh-Naag” was operated by the South East Central Railway (SECR), Nagpur Division.

    ØOn date 20/07/20 & 21/07/20, COCR/Special (Confirmatory Oscillograph Car Run). “Speed trial for 130 kmph” conducted on UP & DN line between NGP to DURG.

    ØOn date 27.07.2020, Three Loaded trains “Heavy Anaconda” formation run between JMG to Tharsa successfully. The formation was made by joining three loaded rakes (02 rakes N/MSPC and 01 rake N/KRPH) and powered by 6 electric locomotives which were DPWCS mode enabled.

    ØOn date 30.07.2020, Three N/BOX trains synchronized “Anaconda” formation run between PMS to JMG successfully. The formation was made by joining Three Empty NBOX rakes and powered by 6 electric locomotives which were DPWCS mode enabled.

    ØOn date 22.08.2020, Trial run CRS SPL train hauled by Electric Locomotive between BMC—BDKD, major section NGP-CWA was completed successfully.

    ØOn date 31.08.2020, First Trial run of Diesel Locomotive with speed limit 10-15KMPH between CID-MFR new broad-gauge lines, major section CWA-via NIR-MFR was completed successfully.

    ØTrail for contactless SIGN ON/SIGN OFF through CHALAKDAL APP for LP/ALP was successfully completed.

    ØOn date 23.10.2020, second “SheshNag” Train No. Crack/BSP in which 8 electric loco hauled four empty N/Box trains successfully originated from PMS (Parmalkasa) in Nagpur Division.

    ØOn date24.10.2020, First Electric Loco Trial LTA—SMC, major section NIR-G was completed successfully.

    ØOn date30.10.2020 CRS Special Train Speed trail run with Diesel locomotive 110 kmph was completed successfully in MFR-CID section; major section MFR-NIR.

    ØOn date31.10.2020 CRS Special Train Speed trail run with Electric locomotive 110kmph was completed successfully in LTA-SMC section; major section G-JBP.

    ØOn date01.11.2020, First Good Train No. N/BOX hauled by Electric Locomotive No. 31118/AQ Ex. NIR to Gondia run completed successfully.

    ØOn date 03.01.2021, first coaching train No. 02389/02390 Gaya-Chennai-Egmore runs in newly electrified G-NIR-JBP section by SECR crew successfully.

    ØOn date 09.01.2021, new running room at Nainpur made functional having capacity of 18-beds to cater requirement for crew and guard of Gondia and Jabalpur lobby.

    ØOn date 03.01.2021, First coaching train No. 02389/02390 Gaya-Chennai-Agmore runs in newly electrified section G-NIR-JBP by SECR crew successfully.

    ØOn date 09.01.2021, new running room at Nainpur made functional having capacity of 18-beds to cater requirement for crew and guard of Gondia and Jabalpur lobby.

    ØOn date 06.02.2021, First Electric Locomotive No. 27175/WAG-7/GD, trial run in newly electrified section TMR-TRDI was successfully completed.

    ØOn date 22.02.2021, Inaugural run of Train No. 08119 (Passenger) Loco No. 22840/WAP-4/ SRC, from Itwari jn. To Chhindwara (CWA) successfully done.

    ØOn date 22.02.2021, Train No. 01754/01753 REWA-ITR-REWA (via JBP-G), Loco No. 22762/WAP-4/ET, tri-weekly train started and run by NGP division crew successfully.

    ØOn date 24.02.2021, GM/SECR Shri Goutam Banerjee annual inspection in Nagpur division successfully completed.

    ØOn date 28.02.2021, CRS/South East Circle Speed trial run of CRS/SPL train and inspection of new BG electrified third line between Rajnandgaon-Dongargarh in Nagpur division successfully completed.

    ØOn date 08.03.2021, Inaugural run of Train No. 02274 (mail express) working Loco No. 22800/WAP-4/ET, from Jabalpur to Chandafort (CAF) successfully done.

    ØOn date 10.03.2021, CRS/South East Circle inspection and speed trial run of CRS/SPL from TRDI-TMR section Loco No. 37039/WAP-7/BIA in Nagpur division successfully completed.

    ØOn date 20.03.2021, CRS/South East Circle inspection and speed trial run BG conversion work between Churai-Chhindwara section with diesel Loco No. 40161/WDP4D/Raipur in Nagpur division successfully completed.

    On date 21.03.2021, CRS/South East Circle inspection and speed trial run for new broad gauge line between Katangi-Tirodi section with Loco No. 40299/WDP4D/Raipur in Nagpur division successfully completed.
