Important activities:-

A video on emergency exit window’s usage was prepared in English and hindi language and being displayed at public places for awareness.

The Video on usage of  emergency exit window is being displayed at, Bilaspur, Raipur and Durg stations through CCTV provided at platforms since 24.10.2014.

Passengers of Sampark kranti (12823/12824) are being counseled during enroute journey by attendant through tablet showing video on emergency exit window.

16 Nukkad nataks were demonstrated at various places at BSP, KRBA,SDL stations and level crossings.

35 railway employees were awarded safety certificates and 1000rs by DRM in his chamber and praised their contribution to safe working in railways.

For awareness among road and rail users ADRM and Sr.DSO had given interview and awareness speech in All India Radio and 94.3 My FM.

During several drives and inspections 1500 road users were counseled regarding safety at level crossings both manned and unmanned and 6000 pamphlets were also distributed.

Drawing and painting competition for kids was organized on 02.06.15 at Rama magneto mall 30 kids participated on subject of level crossing awareness and were awarded by DRM /BSP, My FM also covered the whole program and publicity was spread through them.

Quiz competition was organized at Magneto mall on 03.06.15 and City mall on 05.06.15 attended by 200 people subject was on level crossing awareness.

42 banners were displayed at level crossings, Railway station BSP,RIG,SDL & Malls at BSP, 8500 Pamphlets were distributed to Road users at level crossings.

In consultation with Airtel SMS’s like“Life is more precious than time. STOP, LOOK-OUT for TRAINS before CROSSING UNMANNED Level Crossings”. sent

1.7 lakhs SMS on 01.06.15

2 lakhs SMS on 02.06.15

2 lakhs SMS on 03.06.15

2 lakhs SMS on 05.06.15

organized 3 mini marathon and a walkathon with a motto of creating awareness of safety at level crossings

 a) 200 participants took part in marathon organized at SDL on 30.05.15

b) 105 Participants took part in RIG marathon on 01.06.15.

c) 409 participants took part in marathon at BSP  on 03.06.15 and winners were awarded by DRM & CSO. Large numbers of officers took part in walkathon with a motto of spreading safety awareness at level crossing.

One Drawing and painting competition and two quiz competition were organized at Rama magneto mall on 02.06.15 and on 05.06.15 about 30 kids and 250 people participated in the event winners were awarded by DRM.

14 Awareness videos to ensure safety while crossing level crossings were displayed to 300 students of summer camp and their parents at NE institute on 27.05.15.A motivational session was delivered by Rakhi behen of Bramhakumari’s which motivated kids to inculcate safety in their life. A 5 days yoga shivir was organized by patanjali yog peeth.

56 checks were done by RTO and local police jointly with RPF at Level crossings and 800 road users were counseled to abide rules to cross UMLC and LC Rs 6500 was collected as penalty from 25 errant road users under sections of motor vehicle act.

In the year 2015-16 six safety drives has been launched to check and counsel safety activities among railway employees and rail users.
