        Colony cleanliness has been started over the entire division covering 68 colonies from October, ’14 for the first time.

Baraduar – IB section (14 colonies), Gatora-Gevra Road (10 colonies), Uslapur–Chulha (17 colonies), Badhwabara-Jhalwara (10 colonies), Anuppur- Chirimiri-Ambikapur (17 colonies).

Cleanliness drive has been conducted from 20.05.15 to 20.06.15 at 82 stations including PH over the Division and sustained effort for improving the cleanliness are being made.

Collection of garbage from Pantry Car & OBHS of through passing trains at Bilaspur, Raigarh, Annuppur are being  made.

 Dumping of garbage from stations at earmarked area is done and after that the same is cleared to Municipal dumping point daily.

Action plan for next five year i.e.2019 has been chalked out.

Rail Yatri Upbhokta Pakhawada  organised by Bilaspur Division from 26.05.15 to 09.06.15.

Total 10 medical camps were organised at the following eight stations – BSP,RIG,CPH,KHS, APR,UMR,BJRI,PND, GM conference hall and RPF Barrack/ BSP.

Twenty five doctors participated in the camps and around 608 people benefitted of it.

During intensive ticket checking drive 30 officers, 500 Ticket checking staff  were involved and 1350 ticket less passengers were fined.


Ø Digital Electronic Weigh Machine capacity of 500 kg has been supplied to Bilaspur,  Brajrajnagar, Manendragarh & Uslapur Parcel/Goods Offices.

Ø96thDRUCC meeting held on 27-05.15 .

ØBest ever ticket checking performance in  a day – 1566, ABC cases and an earnings of Rs. 4.36 lakhs  on 12/05/2015 which shows 55% increase  in terms of ABC cases and 108% increase in terms of ABC earnings over the corresponding day of the previous year.

Ø5 nos. Special Trains were booked from BSP, Ex. Raipur to Sakhi Gopal , Korba to Jasidih , Raigarh to Sri Mata Vaishnavdevi Katra(SVDK), BSP to Jalandhar City , Rajnandgaon to Ajmer and 3 Nos. special coach AC-III ex. BSP to Nagpur , Ex. Korba to Coimbatore & SL coach Raigarh to Ujjain generating total additional revenue of Rs. 1.52 Crore.


Ø      Private Siding of M/s Chattishgarh State Power Generation Ltd. Taking off from Janjgir –Naila Rly Station in Bilaspur-Champa is opened as an independent booking point for handling full rake inward traffic coal vide Rates Circular No. 97(G)/2015 dtd 09.06.15.

Ø      Private siding of M/s M.B. Power (Madhya Pradesh ) Ltd. Served by Jaithari Station is opened as an independent booking point for handling full rake for inward traffic of Coal in track Hopper vide Rates Circular No. 104(G)/2015 dtd 17.06.15.

Ø      Cleanliness Drive has been conducted by the Officers & Inspectors at 78 Station over Bilaspur Division from  22.06.15 to 26.06.15.

Ø      During the month, 4 nos. Special Trains were booked from BSP, Ex. Bilaspur to Shalimar , Raipur to Banaras , Raipur to Haridwar & Durg to Mathura 2 Nos. special coach AC-III ex. BSP to Puri  generating total additional revenue of Rs. 1.079 Crore.
