DIESEL TRACTION TRAINING CENTER/MOTIBAGH:

Diesel Training Centre is located at Motibagh of Nagpur division and was established from 07.11.2001. It has 4 class rooms (1 each for Carriage & Wagon maintenance, 1 Diesel Maintenance, 1 BG running and 1 NG running) and 1 common class room with Audio-Visual facilities.

Development of Diesel Traction Training Center/Motibagh:

1.Smart-Tech-Lab the audio visual system received on 09.01.2017 and commissioned on 11.01.2017 for update teaching system to the trainees.

2.Works Sanctioned:-

i.Estimate for Disaster Management M&P items for Nainpur has been material modification included in GC- (Estimate No. PART-I) CEC/BSP/CWA-NIR-MFR/Pt.I/16/10 of 2010-11 and PART-II) CEC/CON/CWA-NIR-MFR/Pt-II/16/10 of 2011-12 amounting Rs. 35.60 Crore. Now, the estimate has been sent to Rly. Board for sanction.

ii.140T Break down crane covered shed commissioned on 20.01.2017.

iii.Simulator in Motion type for Diesel Traction Training Center/Motibagh (COFMOW ITEM). Sanctioned in 2011-12 vide PB item No. 368/11-12 under allocation: CAP. Sanction cost Rs. 20.06 Crore.


 

C&W

1.Development of coach maintenance Infrastructure at Itwari. A proposal for 01 pit line with minimum facilities at Itwari has been sent to Railway Board duly approved by GM/SECR amounting Rs. 10.50 Cr. For inclusion in 2nd revised estimate through material modification of Gauge Conversion Project work of NGP-CWA section.
