HIGHLIGHTS FROM APRIL’16 TO FEB’17 OVER NAGPUR DIVISION.

 

A)Passenger Segment

 

ØTicketing

 

·Peak Hours counter - Peak hour counters are presently working at following locations of the division which are manned by CBS/Booking Clerks.Gondia, Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Tumsar, Bhandara Road, Itwari, Chhindwara, Balaghat.

 

·Operation five minutes : Operation five which aims at providing general ticket to all passengers within 5 minutes is being implemented at all stations of the division. To achieve this, the following measures have been taken.

 

·As an innovation and convenience for the public and passenger, a Twitter account “Coml Control NGPSECR” has been formed in Commercial Control, Nagpur. Position of running late / rescheduled trains is being regularly monitored and its current position is being uploaded in Twitter and tagged with DRM and Sr.DCM.

 

·ATVMs :

 

ØSmart Card ATVMs : Automatic Ticket Vending Machine installed at G,DGG,RJN,BTC,AGN,TMR,TRO,BRD,KP,ITR,WSA & CWA.

 

ØVersatile (Co-TVMs) : Coin Operated Ticket Vending Machine installed at RJN & ITR.

 

·POS (Point of sale machine) : Towards cashless transaction interface Nagpur division is the pioneer in SECRly by installing POS (Point of sale machine) at all the commercial transaction points (Booking ,PRS & parcel)at Gondia station on 27.12.16 which was 1st in the zone. Nagpur division has also got the credit of installation of highest 51 numbers of POS machines in the zone till date. POS machines functional in the division are at G, MIB, KP, CWA, TRO, BRD, RTK, AGN, KNHN, BTC, WRI, RJN, SNV, KGE, CAF, URR, SASR, DGG, SEY stations, GDCA Non Rail head & Post PRSs at Sakardara & Bhandara.

 

·01 Paytm has been provided at catering stall at Gondia.

 

·Tender for 09 sites towards installation & operation of ATMs at

ITR(South & North), KP, BRD, TMR, Gondia (South & North), DGG, RJN, CWA has been floated, against which for 03 sites ITR (North) & Gondia (South & North) offers have been received from Bank of Baroda Nagpur. Tender for 05 sites towards installation & operation of ATM at TRO, AGN, CAF, NAB & WSA has also been floated, which will be opened inthe month of Jan’2017.

 

·UTS counter at Gonglee (GNL), Hirdamali (HDM), Dewalgaon (DEW),

Goberwahi (GBRI) & Khat (KT) have been converted into UTS cum PRS from1.04.2016.

·Jabalpur- Sukrimangela section has been opened for passenger operation by Hon’ble MR on 18.10.2016 after gauge conversion.


 

 

ØTicket Checking: Intensive ticket checking drives conducted on all the sections of the division. Fortress and ambush checks were frequently organised, all of which were supervised by officers of commercial department. This has resulted in breaking the trend of travelling without ticket and increased the window sale.Analysis of Ticket checking for the period Apr-Jan’17 is increased 9.71% compared to the corresponding period of last year is as mentioned below:

B)Parking : The Parking earnings increased 20.31% compared to the corresponding period of last year

·In the month of Nov’16 division has achieved highest Parking Earnings Rs.10.90 Lakhs. Previous highest Parking Earnings Rs.10.29 Lakhs in the month of July’16.

·To achieve additional revenue in the form of Parking License fees and in view of persistent demand for provision of Auto Rikshaw stand at various stations. First time exclusive tender has been floated for Auto Rikshaw & Other Passenger Carrying Commercial Vehicles (PCCV) Parking stand at six locations viz. RJN, CAF, G(South), Gondia(PRS side), CWA & BTC over Nagpur division andLOA have already been issued forCAF, Gondia (south), G(PRS side)CWA & BTC.

 

C)Passenger amenities

 

·Additional FOB Facility provided at Rajnandgaon on 31.5.2016 for easy convenience to passengers during rush period.

·RAMP facility started on 28.05.2016 for physically challenge Passenger at Chandafort .

·Additional Platform shelter & Toilet facility have been provided at PF no. 1 at Bhandara Road on 24.6.2016.

  • Additional Platform shelter has been provided at PF no. 1 at Gondia on 14.7.2016.

 

  • Baby feeding booth has been constructedin record timeat all A & B class stations of NGP division andit was 1st to be installed in Nagpur division of SECR Zone :

·Electronic Coach Indication Board has been provided at PF no. 2&3 at TMR station on 23.8.2016.

·Lift connectivity from Platform no.1 to Platform no.2 at Rajnandgaon has been commissioned on 05.12.2016.

·Rising of platform from Rail level to High level work completed during the month of Jan’17 at NAB station PF no. 3 and BMP station PF no. 1.

·Urinal block renovation works completed during the month of Jan’17 at Gondia on PF No.3&4 at Nagpur end and Hiradamali station on PF No.1, Gonglee station on PF No.1 & Tirodi station on PF No.1 during the month of Feb’17.


 

Battery operated Car provided at Gondia, Rajnandgaon & Dongargarh stations on 5.9.2016 & 11.9.2016 respectively for better facilities to the handicapped, sick and the aged passengers.

·Arun Nagar PH platform length extended to the extent of 163 mtrs towards 100 m towards Gondia end& 63 m towards Chandafort end).The overall length of platform has becomes 313 mtr.

 

·Saplings Plantations have been undertaken by corporate under CSR:
