 Achievements During May-2017

    Very important happening during May- 2017 :

1.1    650 wagons have been given ROH in the month of May-17, which is highest ever outturn given by PPYd – BIA

1.2     20 BOXN wagons have been rehabilitated this month and 389 wagons rehabilitated till May-17

1.3      Fabricated stand for Centre Pivot Bottom: - Stand for Centre Pivot Bottom is fabricted with released and scrap materials at PPYd-BIA. This will facilitate the centre pivot bottom stacked in a proper way and easy to handle and easy to count.

1.4       Stand for ‘L’ Type Brake Beam: - Stand for ‘L’ Type Brake Beam is fabricted with released and scrap materials at PPYd-BIA. This will facilitate the stacking of “L” type brake beams in a proper way and easy to handle . This stacking process is also prevents brake beams from getting bent etc. This  Occupies less space and giving a good ambience in the work space.

1.5    Secondary Break Beam (MBS) Stacking Stand: - This stand is fabricted with released and scrap materials at PPYd-BIA. This will facilitate the stacking of “Secondary Brake beam ( MBS)" in a proper way and easy to handle. This stacking process is also prevents brake beams from getting bent etc. This Occupies less space and giving a good ambience in the work space.

1.62   nos of Jamalpur jack 15ton capacity were not in service and kept idle at Ex-Yard BIA. These 2 nos of jack were put back in service after making necessary modification for ROH repair at   Ex-Yard Bhilai.

1.7     Swacch Bharat Abhiyan Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at PPYd -BIA:

1.7.1ROH Depot, PP Yard, Bhilai taken an initiative to clean the PP Yard BIA under “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” For this purpose a “Shram- Daan” activity was done on 19/05/17 from 8:15 to 9:15 Hrs. In this activity total 295 supervisors, staff along with officers attended and the entrance of PP yard was attended.

1.8   Rs. 3,41, 883/- have been collected from M/s Ambuja Cements Limited, Bhatapara towards hiring charges of one diesel locomotive during this month.

1.9   Total action taken time for the month May-17 is 186 minutes (Avg.)  against 62 complaint (Coach Mitra )

1.10  Total 460 rakes examined in Raipur Division in this month.

1.11   20 Running staffs were sent to MIB Nagpur for Refresher Training. 

Major achievements During May-17:

2.1   ROH depot PP Yard, BIA has given an outturn of 650 ROH of wagons against the target of 661 wagons.

2.2   The average wagon vehicle unit (ineffective percentage) was 90 vehicle units against the target of 124 vehicle unit per month.

2.3   Total 7 BOXN (02 OFF POH, 00 C-Fit, 05 New built HL) CC rakes were formed at PP Yard, Bhilai.

2.4   ROH Depot/PP Yard has given an outturn of 1176 (65 ROH + 428 Sick repair + 98 unloadable) wagons.

2.5    291 wagons have been attended for NPOH repairs.

2.6   64 nos. super long haul trains have been formed and run.                 

2.7    14 coaches have been attended for IOH at Coaching depot, Durg.

2.8   62.29 % diesel crew completed their trip within 10 hours (Sign ON to Sign OFF) and 97.82 % of the wheel movement is within 10 hrs.

2.9   Total 501 nos. of wagons have been provided with split collars at spindle rod of Hand brake wheel.

2.10 Shutdown hours of diesel locomotive is as follows in Raipur Division.
