Achievements of S&T Department in Raipur division during the year 2016-17

As on April’2016

SIGNAL:

*

RKT Less LC Gate has been commissioned at Urla Gate at Km 844/20-22.


*

New IPS (Amara Raja) has been commissioned at LAE.

*

02 Safety Seminars have been conducted to enhance knowledge of maintenance staff to ensure safety.

*

Directive Maintenance has been taken up in 03 stations in Raipur division to minimize signal incidences.

*

Total 02 TLBIs have been replaced for Overhauling in Raipur division.

*

Total 35 Defective Glued Joints have been replaced in accordance with Engineering department.

*

Cable meggering has been done at 05 Stations viz. BYT/West, G/CAB, DURG (East end), MXA and P/CAB.

*

Total 06 Point Machines have been replaced at: RSD (04) and E/CAB (02)

*

Following renewal works done in accordance with Engineering department:

S/Rail and T/Rail: DPH: (01), R (01), G-CAB (01) & MXA (01). T/Rail: MXA (01).

*

Total 17 Nos MS pins of ground connections have been replaced to arrest the slackness in ground connections at BYL (06), BYT/E (06) and G/CAB (06).

*

Earth testing work has been done at E-Cabin and I-Cabin.

*

Following Secondary Cells (Batteries) have been replaced during this year in view of codal life and poor backup:

40AH: 73 Nos, 200AH: 55 Nos.

*

Total 06 Worn out TLJBs have been replaced to avoid track circuit failures.

*

Total 12 Worn out booms have been replaced at Interlocked LC Gates.

*

Total 719 Mtrs worn out Insulated Lead Wires and 495 Mtrs worn out Bond Wires have been replaced for fail safe working of track circuits.

TELECOM;

*

FOIS network of DRZ commissioned on Route Based system on 25.04.2016.
