Dallirajhara – Jagadalpur New Line (235Km)-The work was sanctioned in1995-96 at an abstract cost of Rs 880.69 Cr. ( Phase-I-216.38 Cr. Phase II-664.31 Cr.)
Detailed estimate of Phase-I from Dallirajhara to Rowghat (95Km) was sanctioned in 2009 at a costofRs 631.78 Cr. Detailed estimate submitted to Railway Board on 28.1.2015 for sanction. Phase –I, funded by SAIL and Phase –II funded byRailway , NMDC and CG Govt .C.G.Govt will provide Govt. Land free of cost. As per Board’s directive dated 11.03.08, the Dallirajhara – Rowghat (95 Km) Phase-1 has been transferred to RVNL for execution. Execution of Phase-II is enterested to IRCON
Railways has provided employment to 209 eligible land losers in Balod district and 11 eligible land losers in Kanker district. SAIL has planned to provide employment to 177 land losers (44 in Balod district & 133 in Kanker district). ITI training is being given by SAIL to 114 land losers (44 in Balod district & 70 in Kanker district). Lump-sum package isto be given to balance land losers
Details of land acquisition for phase-I (Dallirajhara – Rowghat)
(i)Private Land: - Requirement of302.29 Hect.has beenfully acquired. Additional requirement of2.88 hec.and khasaradetailsreceived from RVNL on 28.08.12 and 24.09.12 respectively and submitted to SDM/Dondi on 01.10.12.Final award published on 6.01.14. but villagers refusing to take compensation and insisting for employment first. State Govt suggested to provide LC at two location and ROB at one location to minimize no of land losers. Land requirement and consequently employment to land losers has beenreviewed & approved by Railway
(ii) Government Land- 49.92 Hect.-- fully acquired
(iii) SAIL Land---Fully acquired and handed over to RVNL
(iv)Forest Land-Total requirement is 259.54 Hect. Stage - II clearance (Final approval) has been received on 24.03.2011 from MOEF. Tree cutting is done by forest deptt. Tree cutting in Balod distt. completed while in Kanker distt. in progress. Tree cutting has beencompleted in 40 out of 137.40 hect.andis in progress in balance land
Revenue Forest Land- For 83.12 Hect. Stage - I clearance from MOEF received in April-10 stage II clearance from MOEF receivedon 12.5.14. Tree cutting permission is given byCollector/Kanker on date 11.07.2014
Details of land acquisition for phase-II (Rowghat-Jagdalpur 140Km)
Application and set of land plans & land schedule for acquisition of land between Rowghat to Jagdalpur, has been submitted to Collector/Jagdalpur and DFO/ Narayanpur in October 2010. Registration fee was paid on 12.11.12. The case was registered on 10.02.2014. The detailed estimate costing of Rs 1702 Crsubmitted to Railway Board on 28.1.2015

Barwadih - Chirimiri (182 km)- The work was sanctioned in2013-14 at anabstract cost of Rs. 1137 Cr. with remark. “Expenditure /commitments on this project will be made only after obtaining necessary approvals. For changing the name from Barwadih - Chirimiri to Barwadih- Ambikapur, a letter has been written to Railway Board by GM/SECR on 23.07.2014.Railway Board had been advised for granting permission for execution of the project on 28.07.2014

Forest Land- Acquisition of 20.60 hect forest land has been completed in Mandla District..For acquisition of balance 75.977 hect forest landin Balaghat district, stage- I clearance received on 05.02.15. For stage-II clearance, a committee has been nominated by WIIF, Dehradun on 14.05.2015. The committee likely to visit the site in 3rd week of July’15.

Earthwork between BTC-SMC section and at Nagarwara station is completed to the extent possible,

Katangi-Tirodi New line (15 km )
Katangi – Tirodi New line (15.9 Km) was sanctioned as material modification to Gondia – Jabalpur Gauge Conversion work at a cost of `119.64 Cr on 1.06.2011.
Land - i)Forest land –
Forest land of 18.694 hect. in Balaghatdistrict was submitted by Railwayon 20.05.13. the case file has been sent to PCCF/LM/Bhopalthrough CCF/Balghat on 28.02.15 for approval for Stage I clearence
Application for entire Pvt. Landof 45.02 Hect has been filed in the month of May'13. Aprox. 8 Cr. towards anticipated compensation for acquisition of 45.02 Ha. (Pvt. Land) has been demanded by Land acquisition Officer Balaghat in the month of November 2013. Which was raised to Rs. 32 Crores as per new rate. However since the time limit of one year from the date of initial filing of application lapsed, fresh applicationfor the entire 45.02 Hact. has been re filed with SDM/Katangi on 09.12.14 A demand note of Rs 13.93 cr has been received from SDO/Katangi toward payment for anticipatorycompensation on 29.04.15.The amount is deposited on 3.6.2015.
iii)Govt. land :
Gazette notification for transfer of Govt land of 7.3 Hect from Dist. Collector /BTC sent to commissioner/Jabalpur on 21.04.15

Chhindwara– NagpurGauge Conversion (150 Kms)
The work was sanctioned in2005-06 at an abstract cost383.79 Cr. Detailed estimate at a cost of Rs 663.66Cr. was sanctioned on 27.11.12.Ist revised estimate costing Rs 1085.10 Cr. has been submitted to Railway Board on 23.12.2014
((i) Acquisition of forest land and tree cutting by forest department has been completed. Pre-mega block earth work – 60.35 lakh cum, 22 Major Bridges (Sub structure) and 19 Nos (Super structure) and 52 minor bridges completed. Further, 04 Major Bridges and 03 Minor Bridges are in progress. Important tenders for the entire pre mega block works for CWA-NGP section have been awarded/under finalization.
ii) Major Bridges super structure (Steel Girder)-.All girders for 4 spans of 12.2 m and 52 spans of 18.30m are fabricated by CWES/MMR Central Railway and brought to site. 50 Nos girders of 18.3 m. 9 spans out of total 10 spans of 30.5 m girder have also been brought to site and launched. One span of 30.5m is yet to be received from Sabarmati Workshop. All 24 span of 45.73m girder (15 spans from CWES/MMR & 09 spans from Sabarmati Work Shop) brought to site.
It is proposed to plan mega block between Nagpur-Chhindwara section from Nov.2015

Chhindwara – Nainpur – Mandla Fort Gauge Conversion (182 Kms)
The work was sanctioned in2010-11 at an abstract cost of Rs.556.54 Cr. Detailed estimate costing Rs 737.72 Cr. has been sanctioned on 03.03.12.
Forest Land-Stage -I clearanceissued by MOEF/ Bhopal on 02/09/2013 for diversion of forest land of 3.974 hect. in Seoni district. For further processingRly paid the amount of Rs. 1.5 Crore on 29.4.2014. Compliance of conditions given along with Stage-I clearance have been sent by CCF/Seoni to PCCF/LM/Bhopal on 07.6.14 and4.10.14. Permission for cutting of trees and execution of work received from PCCF/Bhopal office through CCF/Seonion24.01.15. A demand for Rs. 0.95 lacks was received from DFO/South/Seoni on 25.03.15 toward cutting of trees in the forest portion and removalof the same. The said amount was deposited to DFO/South/Seoni on 18.04.15.Cutting of tee is in progress.
Private land – Application filed for full requirement 54.95 Hect.In Mandla Dist.( Sec-11 issued for 9.783 hect) out of 11.896 hect. and for rest acquisition in advance stage in Seoni Distt. Sec-11 issued for 31.29 hect. out of 32.104 hect and acquisition is in advance stage for balance portion. In Chhindwara Distt for complete 16.92 hect. of private land sec-11 has been issued.
Government Land : Total requirement 27.927 hect. Formal transfer of land to be done by State Govt.Between Nainpur -Seoni section award for Govt. land 24.707 Hect. to be passed.(all the document of govt. land of Keolari tehsil & Seoni tehshil resubmitted to collector Seoni on date 29-04-2015)

Bilaspur – Urkura (110 Km), (The work between Bhatapara-Urkurais under execution byRVNL)
The work was sanctioned in1997-98 at an abstract cost of 235.78 Cr. The work Bilaspur to Bhatapara (45 km) hasbeencommissioned in 2005-06 at a cost of Rs 289.40Cr.. Bhatapara – Hathbandh has been commissioned on 14.07.10,Hathbandh -Baikunth has been commissioned on28.12.11,Baikunth – Silyari has been commissioned on 14.5.14.Silyari-Urkura is in progress.TDC- Silyari-Mandhar -31.1.2016

The work was sanctioned in2006-07. Detailed estimate cost of Rs 387.54 Cr. Physical progress is 76% Jaithari -Chhulha-Anuppur section commissioned in 09.11.14
(i)Acquisition of 15.71 hec of Pvt land for rail Flyover at Bilaspur is held upneedsto be expedited by State Govt
(ii) Stage II Clearance of forest land between Khodri-Sarbahara and Pendra –Harri section awaited from MOEF. 26.891 hectare of protected forest land is to be diverted in this connection as directed by DFO/Marwahi/Pendra. Railway have deposited of Rs 43546281/ on 26.11.2013.Further, on the direction of DFO/Marwahi/Pendra, Railway have additional deposited of Rs 38,42,208/- on 10.01.2014 towards the compensatory afforestation. Then, the DFO/Marwahi/Pendra has forwarded the proposal onwards to CF/Bilaspur circle/Bilaspur with a copy to CCF/LM/Raipur on 19.03.2014. Further vide letter dated 19.08.2014 demanded additional amount of Rs 2213784 due to increasing 10% labour charges, additional amountof Rs 22,13,784 has been deposited on 26.09.2014. Forest department vide letter No. 115-110/5040/ Raipur dated 6.6.15 have given permission for cutting the trees in 26.891 Hact. Protected forest land

MM-1- Mandirhasaud-New Raipur (New line)(20Km)
(i)Detailed estimatefor newRaipur Mandir hasaud – Kendri new line (20 Km.) has been sanctioned by Railway Board on 30.10.12 at the cost of Rs 100.00 Cr. as Istmaterial modification. Cost ofproject is shared by State Government in the form of providing land free of cost, constructing stations & bearing full cost of ROB/RUB in Naya Raipur area. Draft MOU has been sent to NRDA for approval on 24.02.2014 but insteaded of approving MOU sent by Railway,NRDA sent there own MOU which is to be submitted back to NRDA with Railway’s observations.
(ii). Land is being acquired by New Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) and 54.693hec. Out of 111.81Hect of land has been handed over to Railway and for balance land NRDA is processing for acquisition.
(iii (iii)(iii)In 2014-15 no fund was allocated. Subsequently Railway Board vide letter dated 24.11.14 has re appropriated Rs 5 Cr. accordingly tender opened on 4.2.2015.During 2015-16 RVNL has been given Rs.341 Cr. therefore Railway Boad was requested on 21.4.15 for providing Rs.15 Cr. for above work, Railway Board vide letter No.2015-B-106 dated 26.6.15 allotted Rs 5.00Cr. after re appropriation .
(iv)Detailed estimate for Construction of ROB/RUBs in connection with Mandirhasaud Naya Raipur- kendri new line (Under Deposit) is sanctionedon 01.01.15 ( Rs.3719.84 lakhs). NRDA deposited ofRs.10 Cr. for thiswork on 02.01.15.Tender opened on 04.02.15 which is under finalization
MM-2-Kendri – Dhamtari including Abhanpur – Rajim (67.20 Km) GC.
Detailed estimate ofRs 582.42 Croresbetween Kendri – Dhamtari, Abhanpur – Rajim Gauge conversion has been submitted to Railway Board on 10.02.15 for sanction.For above work Railway Board had been requested on 21.4.15 for providing Rs.5 Cr. for land acquisition and other related works.
Kalumna – Nagpur
The work was sanctioned in2007-08 with an abstract cost of 21.00Cr. Detailed estimate cost was Rs 24.78 Cr.(25.9.11) Revisedcostis Rs. 38.26 Cr under process of submission to Railway Board.
Section commissioning is held up due to non removal of 190 encroachments in 900m length near Nagpur.
Chief secretary /Maharastra in a meeting held on 22.1.13 with Railways andDistrict authoritieshad advised that no encroachment removal shall be done unless Railway comes up with theRe-habilitation plan. Further Chief secretary /Maharastra has also been requested vide CAO/C/SECR’s letter dated 13.03.13 Again letter written to Divisional Commissioner,Nagpur, Maharashtra on29.01.2014 followed by remainder for early removal of encroachment.
DRM/SECR/NGP conveyed that these encroactment are likely be removed shortly.. all the works except the 900m of encroached land had been completed long ago. Tender forEngineeringand S&T have beenopenedand under finalization. Electrical tender willopen on 5.8.2015
Champa – Jharsuguda 3rd line (165 Km ),
The work was sanctioned in2008-09 with a abstract cost of Rs.872.12 Cr.Detailed estimate sanctioned for Rs.983.40 Crore on 30.3.2012 Railway Board vide letter No.2015-B-106 dated 26.6.15,B.G reduced ofRs 5.00Cr. after re appropriation
All tenders for Civil between Champa-Kharsia-Raigarh are awarded. Earth work and minor bridge completed between Champa-Kharsia. Work on four major bridges is also in progress. P-Way linking work is in progress.
Tender for earth work & minor Bridges between RIG and JMG awarded. Tender for ballast supply between RIG-JMGis opened on 2nd june 2015. Tenders between JMG-JSG for earth work minor Bridges are terminated, reinvited and price bid opened on 21-05-2015.Tender discharged & to be reinvited. Tenders for Major Bridges terminated and reinvited. Tenders for OHE work of Champa –Kharsia awarded on 15.10.2014.. S&T Tender forChampa/EI awarded on 31.7.14 and forJDI PI awardedon 26.8.2014.Tender for modification in existing EI (Saragaon- Deori, Baraduar ,Sakti & Kharsia awarded on 25.09.2014. Tender for transportation of Girder from MMR workshop finalized. Tender for shifting of IBS goomityawarded on 12.08.2014.

The work was sanctioned in2010-11 with abstract cost 147.06 Cr. Detailed estimate for Rs.152.99 Cr sanctioned in Oct.10.Revisedestimatefor Rs 231.68 Cr. Vetted by accounts on 15.05.15 and under process.
Land –(i) Private land(0.619 Hect)-Durg district-0.428 hect. and Rajnandgaon district-0.191hect has alreadybeen handed over to Railway. Further for acquisition of 0.505 Hact Pvt in Durg district necessitated to adjust approach curve on HWH end of Shivnath river, application has been submitted to Collector/Durg on 21.05.14 which is under process and demand note of31,05,938/- for pvt land of 0.505 has been received fromCollector Durg on 26.05.15 and submitted on 12.6.15.
(ii)Govt. land (0.907 hect.)- Durg district-0.834hect. and Rajnandgaon district-0.073 hect formalities under process by the State Govt.

Physical progress-27%.Completion is planned in two phases,Durg- Muriphar -31.12.2016 and Muriphar-Rajnandgaon-31.03.2017.
