SHRI SUNIL SINGH SOIN

GENERAL MANAGER, SOUTH EAST CENTRAL  RAILWAY, BILASPUR




Shri Sunil Singh Soin has taken over as General Manager of South East Central Railway on 28th February, 2017. Prior to joining as General Manager, South East Central Railway, he was Additional General Manager (AGM), South Western Railway, at Hubballi.

Born on 22nd April, 1959, Shri Sunil Singh Soin did his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi University. Before joining Indian Railways, he worked with Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) from 1980 to 1982.

He joined Indian Railways in April, 1982 as Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE),  Shri S.S. Soin worked in various capacities in Indian Railways. He worked as Chief Electrical Engineer (Distribution/General Services/Construction)in South Central Railway, as Divisional Railway Manager, Nanded Division in South Central Railway and Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Bilaspur, South Eastern Railway. He also worked as Chief Workshop Manager (Electrical Multiple Unit) Periodical Overhauling (POH) Workshop, Mahalaxmi, Western Railway.


Shri S.S. Soin
 has undergone training in UK on EMU Repairs & Maintenance. He also attended course on “Railway Policy & Management” organized by SAARC nations in South Korea during April, 2010.

Shri Soin is a Music lover and interested in reading, pursuing spirituality and walking.
